RE at Feering
Interfaith Week 2024
During our Inter Faith Week celebration, we explored a range of different faiths and non-religious worldviews. As well as our whole-school Buddhism encounter in R.E., we welcomed visitors to talk to different year groups about their Jewish, Muslim and Humanism beliefs and practices. This included:
- An online workshop with Deborah Carpenter, the Jewish Lead for Education at Norwich Synagogue
- Workshops with a school speaker from Humanists UK
- Sessions about Islam with a Muslim member of staff from the other school in our Trust
The children showed such curiosity and interest in their responses and a real appreciation of the values that these different communities share. Below are some photographs of the experiences that children in Year 3/4 had!
